Effective July 17, 2026
Poco is a photo editing app. This policy explains what information Poco handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your photos are yours, we only use your data to make the app work, and we never sell it.
When you run an AI edit, the photo you selected is transmitted securely (encrypted in transit) to Poco's servers, hosted on Google Cloud in the United States, and to a specialized AI image-processing provider that acts on our behalf and under our instructions, solely to generate the edit you requested. The app asks for your permission before the first time a photo is sent. What is sent: the photo you chose and, for some tools, your chosen edit settings. What comes back: your edited result. These providers are bound to process photos only to deliver your edit, are not permitted to use them for their own purposes, and do not use them to train AI models. Uploaded source photos are deleted from our servers automatically within 2 days; your results remain in your private gallery until you delete them.
Some Poco tools work with the faces in your photos:
We share data only with service providers that help us run Poco (such as cloud hosting, image processing, analytics, and email delivery), and only to the extent needed to provide the app. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal information. With your permission, we share limited ad-measurement data with advertising partners as described in "Ads measurement & tracking" — never your photos.
Poco shows no ads inside the app. To measure which of our own ads bring people to Poco, we work with advertising partners (Meta and TikTok). Only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, these partners receive your device's advertising identifier and basic app events — install, app opens, registration, and purchase confirmations. Never your photos, your edits, or anything you create in Poco. If you decline, we do not access the advertising identifier, and we only receive aggregate, privacy-preserving campaign statistics from Apple. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining never limits any app feature.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete My Data & Account. This permanently removes your account, your photos and results, your balance, and your support history from our systems. Because accounts are anonymous, deleting the app alone does not always remove server-side data — use the in-app deletion for a complete wipe.
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat your photos with strict care and limit access to what is required to operate the app.
Poco is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Poco is operated from, and data is processed in, data centers that may be located outside your country. Wherever your data is processed, it is protected by the terms of this policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. The in-app deletion covers the complete wipe; for anything else, email us and we will help.
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Meaningful changes will be highlighted in the app.
